We need something cold in this summer. Let us try to make Mango Panna Cotta!
Servings - 4
Time Required - 20 minutes for preparation and 4 hours for setting
Ingredients
- 1 cup mango puree
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 tsp. gelatin
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cream (fresh/whipping cream)
- Vanilla essence
Preparation
For the Mango Layer
- Make 1 cup mango puree and mix 2 table spoon sugar into this
- Dissolve 1 tea spoon of gelatin completely in 2 table spoon of hot water
- Blend above mango puree and gelatin syrup thoroughly
- Pour this mix into a glass to half level. Keep this glass in a slanted position in the fridge.
- Set in refrigerator for 2 hours
For the Vanilla Milk Layer
- Completely dissolve 1 tea spoon gelatin in 1 cup of milk, gently heat don’t boil.
- To above add 1 cup cream, ½ cup sugar and about ½ tsp. vanilla essence.
- Whisk and mix well, cool to room temperature.
- Pour this to above glass of set mango puree and keep in fridge for another 2 hours.
Serve chilled.
