Panna Cotta

Panna cotta literally translates to cooked cream. It is a silky, custardy pudding that gets its texture
from Gelatin and tastes best when served with berries. Follow the recipe below.
Panna Cotta

Ingredients
  • Gelatin - 1 tbsp
  • Coldwater - 2 tablespoon
  • Fresh cream - 1.5 cups
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1/3 cup
  • Splash of vanilla
Preparation
  1. In a wide bowl sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for a minute.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the cream along with the sugar until the sugar dissolves completely. Make sure it does not come to a boil.
  3. Add the bloomed gelatin to the cream mixture and turn off the heat. Once the gelatin dissolves, add in the milk along with the splash of vanilla.
  4. Divide the mixture among 4 ramekins and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  5. Dip the ramekins in hot water for a couple of seconds and run a clean knife through the edges of the ramekins for the pudding to come out easily. Flip the ramekins onto the centre of a plate. Top with berries of choice and enjoy.
