It is very easy to prepare or use gelatin in your recipes. The video below will help you.
- Weigh/measure out the required quantity of gelatin into a bowl/saucepan
- Add water as per the quantity mentioned in the recipe
- Keep the bowl/pan aside for 10-15 minutes for swelling. It's best if you keep it for 30 minutes.
- Then heat the gelatin on low flame with continuous stirring with a spoon.
- The optimum temperature is 60-70 deg C and it should never boil.
- Alternatively, for less quantity of gelatin, melting can be done by placing the bowl with soaked gelatin in another vessel filled with boiled water and stirring with a spoon.
- Stir to completely dissolve and form a clear solution
- Cool slightly and transfer in the hot condition
