Let us make some double layer Chocolate Mousse!
Chocolate Mousse

Time Required - 30 minutes
Ingredients
- Gelatin – 10 g (1 tbsp)
- Cream (sweetened) – 1 ½ cup
- Dark chocolate – 5 g
- Milk chocolate – 5 g
- Condensed milk – for sweetening, if required
- Sweetened cocoa powder – 1 tsp
Preparation
For dark chocolate layer
- Add 2 tbsp water in ½ tbsp (5g) gelatin and soak for about 10 minutes. Melt completely by placing the container over boiled water or by gentle heating.
- Whip ¾ cup cream till you get a creamy texture. If cream is not sweetened, add condensed milk after whipping.
- Melt the dark chocolate by placing over a boiled water.
- To the cream, add melted chocolate first, gently heat and mix. Then add melted gelatin and mix thoroughly.
- Pour this to a bowl or desired moulds and keep in refrigerator for 15 minutes
For milk chocolate layer
- Prepare same as above procedure using a milk chocolate and pour over the first layer of dark chocolate set in the bowl/moulds. Again keep in refrigerator for 2 hrs.
- Prior to serving, dust on with sweetened cocoa powder over the mousse.
Serve chilled.
