Jujubes Candy

Jujubes Candies

Time Required - 2.5 hours

Ingredients
  • Gelatin - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Lemon - 1/2
  • Food colour - as per your choice
Preparation
  • Soak Gelatin in ½ cup of water. Keep it aside
  • Add sugar and ½ cup water in a pan. Bring to boil. Stir well on a medium flame until a thick consistency
  • Add Gelatin and stir well until the Gelatin is dissolved.
  • Turn off the burner and add lemon
  • Add the desired colour of your choice (2 or 3 drops)
  • Pour the mixture into a greased mould or ice tray
  • Let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hrs
  • Demould the candy. (Remove with a sharp knife)
  • Coat with granulated sugar
