Jujubes Candies
Time Required - 2.5 hours
Ingredients
- Gelatin - 2 tbsp
- Water - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Lemon - 1/2
- Food colour - as per your choice
Preparation
- Soak Gelatin in ½ cup of water. Keep it aside
- Add sugar and ½ cup water in a pan. Bring to boil. Stir well on a medium flame until a thick consistency
- Add Gelatin and stir well until the Gelatin is dissolved.
- Turn off the burner and add lemon
- Add the desired colour of your choice (2 or 3 drops)
- Pour the mixture into a greased mould or ice tray
- Let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hrs
- Demould the candy. (Remove with a sharp knife)
- Coat with granulated sugar
