Café Latte Gelatin with Cinnamon Cream

Servings - 6

Time Required – about 10 minutes

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon unflavoured/plain gelatin (10 gm)
  • 1/2 cup (about 125 ml) hot water
  • 3/4 cup (about 175 g) + 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, taken separately.
  • 6-8 teaspoons of Instant coffee powder (as per your preference in flavour strength). It may become bitter with more coffee powder.
  • 3 cups (about 700ml) warm milk
  • 1/2 cup (about 125ml) heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation
  • Sprinkle gelatin over hot water in large bowl; stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Add 3/4 cup sugar and coffee powder; mix until coffee and sugar are dissolved.
  • Stir in warm milk.
  • Pour into 6 individual dessert cups; refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
Separately, beat cream with remaining 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl until soft peaks form. Top each dessert evenly with cinnamon cream. Sprinkle with additional ground cinnamon, if desired. Serve immediately.
